Lorraine (manager)I started with Scintilla in 2007 as an afternoon fill in, a position which grew 'like Topsy' to Manager for the Waikato region. It is exciting to work alongside such creative talents designing small collections of original clothing for the busy modern woman. Scintilla understands our different shapes and different lives and is focused on a shopping experience for everyone about feeling and looking good. It is a real pleasure to find just the right garments and see our customers who we come to know well, leave our store really happy.
Hi my name is Tory (sales assistant)I joined the Scintilla team more than three years ago. I already was a great fan of the clothing and had a wardrobe full of favourites from my local store. NZ made Scintilla is 100% New Zealand owned and operated. We are dedicated to producing high quality garments here in New Zealand using the wonderful talent that we have in this great country.All our fabrics and trims are sourced from New Zealand suppliers. We have workshops in Raglan and Tahekeroa where the garments are designed, sampled, patterned and cut out. The garments are then sent out to different sewers dotted around the North Island.
screenprints

Scintilla screenprints have always been a feature of our garments they are designed in house by Andy and Sean. They are hand drawn with ink onto vellum paper with each colour being drawn on a separate piece of vellum and then laid over the previous colour. They are then scanned, transferred to film which is superimposed onto a screen for printing.
